Kevin Christensen entered college as an amateur animator, creating two animated short films, Stikman Dan and Stikman Returns, in his first two years in school. Combined they won eight awards at the 2003 and 2004 Biola Film Festivals, including the Glass Nash Award (best overall film) for Stikman Returns in 2004.
Christensen joined the crew of Project X in May of 2004 as Creature Designer and Lead Animator, adopting it as his next project to follow his Stikman shorts. Following his work on Project X, Christensen pursued a new-found fascination: cinematography. He was director of photography on New Renaissance Pictures' The Deserted and Piraeus, as well as several short films directed by Anthony Parisi, including the super-hero action-comedy, Dino-Might. Christensen is currently collaborating with Parisi and Kenny Ryan on several new short films.
In the past year, Christensen has continued to sharpen his craft as director, developing innovative ideas for short sketch comedies for Biola's comedy program, "LATE." Kevin is now completing his exciting and hilarious new web serial, Cataclysmo and the Time Boys available at WebSerials.com.
Kevin lives in the small Los Angeles suburb of La Habra and owns a small beard, which he wears from time to time.
